I’ve listed those I used to know, in order of how well I got to know them.
Beddgelert faired slightly better than Rhayader, as in, those I remember.
There are also those who I vaguely remember, but I certainly don’t remember their names, and unfortunately, probably never will do. Therefore, I’ve put them under...
‘The Others’.
This is part of the problem of having got to know the then youngsters over approximately an eight year time scale, and then just suddenly stopping the visits, because of my circumstances.
Once you don’t show up anymore, in the end, those people will forget about you.
I didn’t forget about them, because back then they were a large part of my life.
Time has moved on from 1986… therefore, thirty years later… 2016 I’m still single… but that’s through choice. So whereas those then youngsters now probably have families and commitments, I’m not in that situation, again… through choice.
And yes… I’ve had my fair share of problems along the way… which is part of the reason; I just suddenly stopped… visiting Beddgelert and Rhayader.
