Hello and welcome. My Name's Trevor Back in the 1980's.. I regularly visited Beddgelert in North Wales and Rhayader in Mid Wales
I regularly visited Beddgelert in North Wales and Rhayader in Mid Wales, as shown below. At the time of my visits, I lived in a town called Brentwood in Essex (I now live in Scotland) which was about 25 miles east of London, however; as no one would have known where Brentwood was, I said I came from just outside of London.
I got to know a few of the local youngsters from Beddgelert and Rhayader, as back in the 1980s I made regular visits to both places. At the time I was in my 20s, so as time has moved on I’m now in my 50s.
Visiting both these places... was a large part of my life back then, and in due course I got to know the then youngsters very well. They included... Gwindaf, Peter, Gonks and Miranda from Beddgelert, and Louise, Diana, Charlie and Stephen from Rhayader. There were others I got to know in Beddgelert and Rhayader, but I haven’t been able to remember their names.

Before this website commences, there are a few things which I have to bear in mind, remember and realize, could hinder me, when trying to make contact with people I knew thirty years ago.
The most obvious… is the time scale. Thirty years is a long time and most folks are going to have progressed through life whereby they are married and probably have a family, and therefore the last thing they are going to be thinking about… is me, suddenly appearing on a forum.
I haven’t settled done. So although thirty years has passed, I’m still single, but that’s through choice.
Additionally; people change with age, and they are not necessarily going to recognize themselves thirty years on. However; they may just remember a car. This is why I’m grateful that (although the photos are not clear) they are in cars.
