I moved to Chelmsford about a week after getting my first HGV job.

 During my time at the Royal Mail, I’d also been a member of what was known as a YHA group. (Youth Hostel Association) This was a mainly a walking group, but it also gave me the opportunity to meet other people around my age.

Because I had commented I was looking for somewhere else to live, one of the members said there was a room going where he lived, and as he knew me, he didn’t foresee there would be a problem with me having the room.

The end result was, I moved from Brentwood to Chelmsford.
